Meet the Owner

Jim Barden is the franchise owner of Express Personnel Services in Placentia, Calif.  Jim has over 30 years of operations and financial management experience with fortune 500 companies.  Jim was born and raised in Minneapolis, has been a Southern California resident for nearly 20 years and spent most of his financial management career working for Wall Street based companies. 

When you combine Jim’s midwestern work ethic, his Fortune 500 and Wall Street business experience, along with the product line Express Personnel Services offers, he can help any company meet their staffing and human resource challenges.

Jim received his bachelor's degree from Metropolitan State University and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).  Jim is a member of the Placentia Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Placentia Rotary Club.  Jim is an endurance athlete who enjoys running marathons, hiking, camping, backpacking, riding his mountain bike, and falling off his surf board.

Jim also enjoys spending time with his four children, Tim, Gary, Ann and Ellen as well as volunteering his time managing the back stage set crews for Broadway on Tour.
